The Rock that is higher than I.

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. -Psalm 61:2

I have been meditating on this verse for a while and especially now, it helps me more & more. As we step into a new season of life I'm confronted with the fact that what I relied on in the past will not be enough. my weakness is that I will look to draw what I have to make it through, but I know that I can't do it. So I repeat this verse to myself. "lead me to the rock that is higher than I".

I hope that you will do the same. God is our refuge and our strength. When we have done all that we can to lead our teens in the right the direction and yet they still buck against the rod and the staff meant to comfort them, we have the rock "Jesus" that is higher than us to encourage and refresh us. And in his strength & power we will not only make it but see the promise fulfilled.

It's Simple WE ARE PREGNANT!!!!

Well the news is big enough in itself. I don't need to say much. Teressa and I are pregnant and here are the ultrasound pictures. Thank you for your prayers and Teressa and I are excited to start the most important youth ministy that we will have stewardship over.
