The Power of Agreement

With a baby on the way and decisions to be made regarding our family, working situations and all that my wife and I found ourselves in a place of disagreement regarding what would be the best scenario for our family. Of course for a while I thought that I had the best answer and she just needed to submit to that. However, I realized that while the two of us were in disagreement we were not going to be able to support the other in whatever we were doing because this issue was in the way. I learned that we are more effective when we actually agree because our energy is working with each other instead of against each other. Together we can make any decision the best decision, but otherwise disagreement will make any decision the worst.

Let that be my encouragement for everyone today. Find a place of agreement (according to God's word) in your family and get your energy working together.

Happy Mothers Day Every Day

Even though the nation only makes one day to celebrate the hard work and effort of our moms, we should remember that moms should be celebrated everyday. I want to say thank you to all you moms for your commitment, dedication, and love. It does go unnoticed a lot and not appreciated as much as it needs to, but the fruits of your labor is all around us.
